Walker Capital is a new investment company which opened its doors June 1st, 2006. Though a new company, the founder, Kenneth B. Walker has been a portfolio manager in the Hartford, Connecticut area for over 23 years. Ken has worked with such well known firms as Fleet Financial Group (now Bank of America); State Street Global Advisors and U.S. Trust Company. He has been responsible for the management of over $400 million in investment funds for clients ranging from endowments and pension plans to wealthy individuals and trusts. Ken developed the Index Plus Strategy to address the needs of value minded investors by combining the benefits of exchange traded funds, technology and low fees in order to provide clients with highly efficient and cost effective investment portfolios. | |
